Dear developers, dear community,
since 2025 I work on my own sing game that supports ultrastar song format. It's called "SingStation". I already made a complete UI Design System in figma by myself that is 100% legally safe, and a lot more.
Now as a product owner and UI Artist I'm looking for web programmers in the community. Nico (Tune Perfect) and I will support each other but work on different games and teams.

exciting news! We got a new promising game project called "Tune Perfect". The developer Nico is almost ready to release the first version but needs some QA to make the first release as bug-free as possible.
Tune Perfect is a newly developed game based on web standards with a modern design. It also includes support for online accounts and a highscore database.
Developer Nico is a one man team from germany working passionate for many years on the game. If you got time and believe in the web approach you should definitely support him.

OPEN MUSIC GAMES is the central website for all of us. It's a umbrella brand. Think of it as a plattform and central info hub. Goal is to make everything easier for developers and players.
Finally, UltraStar Creators Community evolves. All the driving forces of UltraStar Play, Melody Mania and UltraStar Deluxe connected the last two month with the heads and people from Vocaluxe and Performous for co-operation. It's about finding common solutions but still having unique games.
The admin team categorized all channels by target group: "For Players" "For Song Creators" and "For Developers". Thus it's easier to get orientation. They also added a lot of info channels "For Everyone".

The open music games scene made some progress in the last two months. First of all we got various improvements of tools and games. was released with a better interface and now fully features UltraStar Song Format v1.1.0. Performous v1.3.1 is out and fixed some bugs. The new on the contrary has a complete new graphic design. Melody Mania Companion app was approved in apple store and there are also some chances that UltraStar Play gets its mergeback from Melody Mania in spring.
On the otherside Open Music Games Organization build up a and released a minimal introduction video for all free singing games. Moreover we added two basic official gameplay demo videos for Performous and Vocaluxe on youtube that everybody may use as reference. Also good to know: Our FAQ was improved and adresses some basic song licensing questions.
And finally, sadly, there will be no rewrite of usdb.animux.de as it was claimed by admin Alex in october 2023. Please check out the recently added for a complete overview of current hostings.
